Dr. Rafael Sierra is a highly skilled board certified surgeon with over 18 years of surgical experience, and world renowned for his strong hand in robotic surgery. His intensive research in minimally invasive and robotic surgery has resulted in multiple journal publications as well as Dr. Sierra presenting at both national and international conferences for his unique expertise. He continues to be at the forefront of his field and has been voted Top South Florida Doctor for the past three years in a row.
Dr. Sierra obtained his medical degree at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and did an internship at Tel Aviv University Sheba Medical Center in Israel. He spent seven years at Tulane University, Louisiana completing his surgical residency and specializing in minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
