NON-SURGICAL HAIR RESTORATION
You may be a good candidate for minimally invasive and non-surgical hair restoration if you are experiencing early stages of hair loss. Modern advances in hair restoration techniques provide several non-surgical, clinically studied options, shown to demonstrate significant growth. Some of these non-surgical and minimally invasive restoration techniques and protocols include Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT), Platelet Rich Plasma injections, Topical Solutions, and Medications. Sierra Robotic Hair Institute specializes in surgical robotic hair transplantation, but we may also treat your hair loss if you are experiencing early stages of hair loss with non-surgical options. Moreover, non-surgical protocols may be an important part of your post-operative maintenance if necessary. Have a look below to learn more about several examples of non-surgical hair restoration.

Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT)
Controlled clinical trials demonstrated that LLLT stimulated hair growth in both men and women. Among various mechanisms, the main mechanism is hypothesized to be stimulation of epidermal stem cells in the hair follicle bulge and shifting the follicles into anagen phase.

Platelet Rich Plasma
PRP as a treatment for hair loss has shown prominent hair growth results in both men and women. It is highly recommended that patients undergoing FUE hair restoration solidify their results with follow-up PRP. For those who are too young for hair transplant surgery, or in a very early stage of loss, PRP may begin promoting natural hair growth in as little as two to three months.

Topical Solutions

Medication
Taking an oral medications such as Finasteride or Dutasteride is a good way to prevent future hair loss and regrow any thinning hairs. It helps to preserve your existing hair and your hair transplant so that you don’t require any more transplants in the future.
